Peer Support Program

The aim of sessions conducted by our Year 11 Peer Support Leaders is to promote positive relationships with and between Years 7 and 8 students in a supportive network.

The Year 11 Peer Support Leaders meet regularly with Years 7 and 8 students throughout their first semester at the College.

Peer Support Leaders play a vital role in the wellbeing and development of Years 7 and 8 students. They embody our College value of Courage to Lead by taking initiative and organising weekly Morning Admin activities for Years 7 and 8 students.

Peer Support Leaders actively participate in Year 7 and Year 8 camps and retreats throughout the year. These experiences provide an excellent leadership opportunity for the Peer Support Leaders, allowing them to model positive behaviours, build connections and offer guidance.

Their presence and support help Years 7 and 8 students navigate early high school life, fostering a sense of belonging, confidence and community as they transition into the high school setting.
