Mary MacKillop College Swim Squad

Building strength, stamina and the MacKillop spirit

At Mary MacKillop College, we are proud to support and encourage students to develop their talents across a range of sporting pursuits. Our Swim Squad Training program offers students the opportunity to enhance their swimming technique, build fitness and foster team spirit in a supportive environment.

Held during Term 1 on Thursday mornings at the nearby Norwood Swimming Centre, Swim Squad is open to all students, regardless of competitive experience. Training sessions are designed to cater for a range of abilities, helping students to improve stroke efficiency, endurance and race skills.

Many students who participate in Swim Squad go on to represent the College at the SACSSGSA Swimming Carnival, where our school competes alongside other Catholic girls’ schools in a vibrant and spirited interschool competition.

Swim Squad is just one example of how Mary MacKillop College nurtures the development of well-rounded young women, offering opportunities for leadership, personal growth and achievement through sport.
