Tenison claims victory at the 2020 Athletics Carnival
Friday 13 March 2020 was a day where the College went back in time as we embraced ‘Through the Decades’ as this year’s theme at the annual Mary MacKillop College Athletics Carnival. The day was filled with many achievements and celebrations across multiple athletic events. It was fantastic seeing so many students dress up in their house’s decade and I would like to congratulate the students across Years 7-12 who won the best dressed awards. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge students who attended swim squad throughout Term 1. Their dedication and commitment in attending several early morning swim squad training sessions is to be congratulated. I would also like to say a big thank you to Ms Parente and Mr Gilliland for supervising the sessions and supporting the squad.
Term 1 Sport
Despite the season finishing early, students who participated in Term 1 Sport should be congratulated for the manner in which they represented the College. The sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership displayed from all 14 of our teams is something to be proud of. I hope to see all students back playing sport in Term 4.
