To the Mary MacKillop College Community,
Passion week presents an opportune time for us to reflect, renew and be grateful for the depth of our faith and the way in which it can sustain us.
Indeed the world and local events of the Coronavirus pandemic have challenged us all.
Perhaps now more than ever is the time for reflection and renewal, for rediscovery of things that we may have taken for granted.
A time to renew bonds and connections in a different way, a time for being creative in how we go about everyday tasks.
As you are aware the Principal Kath McGuigan is leading the College through this challenging time. Her focus is on the wellbeing of the whole community - students and staff - and communication with parents and caregivers.
Supporting her is the Leadership Team and staff, they are working collaboratively and tirelessly to ensure that the education and wellbeing of your daughters continues to be of the highest quality.
On behalf of the Sisters of St Joseph and the Board of Directors, I renew our commitment to you all and thank Mrs McGuigan and all the staff for their dedication and agility in adapting and responding to the unprecedented events of our time.
I wish you and your families a blessed Easter and take life and hope from the risen Lord.
Chair of the Board
