From the Deputy Principal

Term 4 has begun and the time for farewells and new beginnings are upon us. The 2020 Student Leadership Team have begun their work of leading the College and we have celebrated the joy of the Class of 2019 in a wonderful Mass and Farewell Assembly. Our new Year 7 and 8 families will gather at the College on Tuesday evening under the leadership of current Year 7 and 8 MacKillop girls. Here, we will welcome our new MacKillop sisters as they begin their secondary school journey with us. Year 9, 10 and 11 girls are focusing on their studies and beginning to think about pathways for their future. Soon, the Year 10 students will consider applying to be Peer Support leaders.

Other events that fill the Term 4 calendar include:

  • The Collage of Migration with Rostrevor College
  • The Year 12 (SACE) Art Exhibition
  • Remembrance Day Service led by the Social Justice Captains
  • Year 12 Graduation Dinner
  • End of Year mass and Awards evening

In amongst these events students will be completing final assignments and sitting exams. We encourage all students to be committed to Term 4 by being attentive to their studies, seeking support when needed and persisting when there are challenges.
