At Mary MacKillop College we value the times where we unite to celebrate and develop our faith. 

Despite the challenges of 2020 the College community was able to join together in prayer by celebrating in the End of Year Liturgy of the Word.

Students from Mary MacKillop College achieved pleasing results in this year’s ICAS Assessments. Developed for students in primary and secondary school years, ICAS assesses the higher order thinking and problem-solving skills needed for success in English, Mathematics, Science and Digital Technologies. Every year thousands of schools participate in ICAS in over 20 countries, providing participating schools with a robust international benchmark of student achievement.

Christmas Hope, Peace and Joy

Lord God, we pray that you will turn our hearts toward you as Christmas approaches. Let us not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season this year and miss the chance to celebrate the gifts of hope, peace, joy and love that you sent to us on that first Christmas. That first Christmas, you gave us the gift of hope wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Thank you, God, for your immeasurable gift.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen

The Term 4 Sport season abruptly came to a halt in Week 6, ending our middle teams’ season a week short. Despite the missed round we still had some very pleasing results with many of our MacKillop teams finishing towards the top of the ladder. The Oliphant Science Awards is an annual competition for South Australian school students from Reception to Year 12 to develop their interest in Science. The Science based competition has a range of categories to suit a wide variety of abilities and interests. It provides students with an opportunity to expand their scientific literacy, by showing interest and understanding in the world around them.

Support Mary MacKillop College (SA) to raise extra fundraising dollars this festive season.

Parents and friends are invited to volunteer in the canteen which is a great opportunity to broaden friendships and enhance the environment for our MacKillop girls. If you are able to join our happy crew of volunteers, by helping for a few hours, from as little as once a month.
