Welcome back to all families for Term 3. I hope that the holiday period was an opportunity not only for rest but also an opportunity to spend quality time together as a family. Term 3 is always a significant time for teaching and learning and features many events to look forward to.

Research Project Results

Last week, Semester 1 2020 Research Project results were released. Of the 59 Research Project B Students, six A+ grades were awarded

Congratulations to Mia, Gurleen, Jasmine, Emily, Grace, and Julia on their excellent achievement.

Throughout Semester 1, English students were encouraged to enter the South Australian English Teachers Young Writers’ Awards 2020. The competition is an avenue for young writers from Reception though to Year 12 to showcase their poetry and narrative skills, and with thousands of students from South Australia entering, to be selected for publication is an honour.

The winter season of sport has finally arrived! We are all excited to be playing sport at the College once again. Our Netball, Badminton and Soccer teams all completed their first round of matches over the weekend. The season will be shorter this year with only seven rounds including playoffs. 

In the dramatically changing labour market, it will be critical to ensure that young people in education receive the best possible careers support. Parents and carers also need support, so that they can help effectively.
