From the Principal

There was a real sense of excitement and anticipation as we gathered as a whole school for a College Assembly for the first time since early March. Now, at the end of June, we are looking forward to more restrictions being eased and at the same time continuing not to be complacent about the very real dangers of this nasty virus.

From the Deputy Principal

What an interesting term we have had, as our new normal limited our ability to attend excursions, meet as a whole school, play sport and interact with each other. MacKillop girls and staff have shown their resilience by adapting to different ways of learning, and gathering through online Liturgies and assemblies, and Zoom meetings with outside agencies.

From the Acting Director of Students

We have come to the end of another term, a term rich in learning and personal growth for MacKillop girls.

Our Good News Assembly yesterday morning just skimmed the surface of all that has been happening over the past 10 weeks. If we look in a little more detail at the Pastoral Care program, we can see just how much students have done in throughout Term 2.

Opening Prayer

End of Term Prayer

We thank you Lord,
for this term.
For the challenges, the successes,
and the mistakes from which we have learnt.
Be with us as we spend our time
with family and friends.
Give us strength and courage to do what is right; to be witnesses of our faith.
Help us to appreciate what others do for us, to give time and effort to help others, to be peacemakers in our family.
Keep us safe in our activities;
give us good rest and good fun.
Bring us back refreshed
and ready for a new term.
We thank you for our peers, staff, parents
and a community that cares for us.
May we always be conscious of you in our lives.
Amen
