College Masses and Religious Celebrations

The College values the occasions where we come together to celebrate our faith and to thank God for the many blessings that come our way throughout the year.

This is also a time where the community gathers to seek direction and celebrate the joy of creation.

We invite parents and members of the College community to all of our major celebrations.

Whole College Masses take place each term, and each year level celebrates its own Mass in St Joseph's Chapel once a term.

These Masses connect us both with the wider Church community through St Ignatius Church and with the Josephite community through worship in St Mary of the Cross MacKillop's own chapel, where the students join with some of the Sisters in their chapel.

We are grateful to the Jesuit Priests of Norwood for their ongoing chaplaincy support to the College, reflecting an association with Mary MacKillop that extends back over a century.

The Mary MacKillop College Feast Day is celebrated on the Friday of the week of 8 August in Term 3, beginning with Mass and followed by an afternoon of Feast Day activites, fundraising for the Mary MacKillop Foundation.
