As part of this month's monthly mantra, 'Academic August', the Wellbeing Ambassadors have organised a variety of activities for students to participate in to raise awareness and funds for Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer.
The following activities took place:
- Monday 27 - Friday 31 August: students brought brain food to eat during lesson 4 and 5
- Monday 27 August: Each student wrote a study tip on a sticky note in pastoral care and then swapped them between each other
- Tuesday 28 August: Brain food was distributed by the Wellbeing Ambassadors between lessons 4 and 5 - this was a surprise for the students
- Wednesday 29 August: Students received a purple ribbon and were asked to donate a Gold Coin towards Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer
- Thursday 30 August: We raised awareness of Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer, as well as promoted the Kahoot in the Assembly
- Friday 31 August: During lunch time, there was a general knowledge Kahoot in the gym where students and teachers created teams - to participate, all were asked to donate a gold coin
