Students from our Japanese sister school, St Capitanio visited our College this term and we delighted in their company. Buddied with Year 10 students the girls enjoyed many experiences of being a MacKillop girl. A traditional trip to Pt Noarlunga Aquatics was a highlight along with bowling and a tram ride to Glenelg. There was considerable learning taking place from both the Australian and Japanese girls as they enjoyed each other’s company in the midst of school life. The final farewell had us laughing and crying as we enjoyed dancing, singing and a beautiful farewell speech. We look forward to the next time our sister school visits us in 2018. Many thanks to the Australian Year 10 buddies and Ms MacLennan for their generosity and hospitality.
