English as a Second Language (ESL)

Mary MacKillop College is enriched by a diversity of cultural knowledge and experience with many students being from different cultural backgrounds.

English as a Second Language (ESL) students are those who have language backgrounds other than English and who are learning English as their second or additional language at the College.

The promotion of fluency in written and spoken English is at the heart of the program, providing opportunities for students with English as a Second Language to achieve their best, experience success and develop skills to improve their competency in the use of the English language.
