MMC Old Scholars

Vision

The Mary MacKillop College Old Scholars Association (MMCOSA) embraces and passes on the living tradition of the College community in the spirit of Mary MacKillop.

It encourages lifelong links amongst its members and has a special relationship with the Sisters of St Joseph.

The Association fosters justice and compassion, hospitality and concern for those in need. 

Therefore the Old Scholars Association aims to:

  • build and encourage the network of members
  • assist Mary MacKillop College and it’s students in any manner which may be practicable
  • promote and encourage a variety of social activities among the members of the Association
  • provide positive role models/mentors for our current student body
  • raise funds to support the vision and objectives of the association.

How to get involved

There are a number of ways to get involved with our Old Scholars:

  • We have a Facebook page for the Mary MacKillop College Kensington Old Scholars Association.
  • Attend our events - the Annual Dinner is open to everyone each year but we also focus on the 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50-year anniversary of graduation groups.  These events are held in the last Friday in October each year.
  • Attend the Friday night at the College, which is usually in February-March each year.  We also hold other events from time to time - and you can get more details from our Facebook page.
