From the Principal

It is our hope that each MacKillop girl grows in confidence and conviction over the five years they are in our care. This is achieved, because the girls are offered opportunities, in and out of the classroom to learn new skills, take risks, ask questions and voice their ideas. Confidence and conviction are two qualities held by successful leaders.

On Tuesday 17 October, students, families, friends and staff of the College gathered together to celebrate all things sport in the Gymnasium. Lead by our four Sport Captains, Margot, Isabella, Daniella and Jacinda, it was a night to acknowledge the contribution MacKillop girls make to the field of physical education and sport. There were stories shared and successes celebrated all of which were shared with two special guests.

In 2019 Mary MacKillop College will become a Year 7 - 12 girls school.

Loving God
We pray for our Year 12 students as they prepare to complete their secondary school journey.
Be with them as they prepare for their final exams.
Thank you for the many talents and gifts you have given them and for the opportunity of an education at Mary MacKillop College.
Help them to use their knowledge wisely and to find a way to make the world a better place,
And make life with its problems a little bit easier to face.
Grant them faith and courage and put purpose in their days,
And show them how to serve in effective ways.
So their education, their knowledge and their skillMay find their true fulfillment as they learn to do your will.,
That knowledge comes from learning,
and wisdom comes from You.
Holy Spirit, be present with them today and always

2018 Timetabling and Booklists
Schools in Term 4 are interesting places as we are busy planning for 2018 while still teaching, learning and living in 2017. All student subject selections are finalised and the processing of using this data to create the 2018 timetable is now underway. The line structure is now complete. Lines group subjects together so that a timetable can be created that makes best use of our teacher and room resources.

Parents and friends are invited to volunteer in the canteen which is a great opportunity to broaden friendships and enhance the environment for our MacKillop girls. If you are able to join our happy crew of volunteers, by helping for a few hours, from as little as once a month to weekly or daily, our Canteen Manager Narelle Matthews would love to hear from you!
