From the Principal

Last Friday the staff gathered at West Lakes and took a step away from the busyness of school to reflect on our Josephite Charism and Catholic tradition. Our facilitators were Sr Christina Neunzerling and Sr Katrina Brill, wonderful Sisters of St Joseph from New Zealand who gently walked us through the history of our Catholic tradition and inspired us with insights of our faith.

Opening Prayer

God of Love and compassion, help us to open the door of mercy in our Catholic school communities, in our families and in the world. Let mercy guide our actions and bring us closer to the heart of the Gospel.

That we might live as Jesus with the mercy that welcomes, loves, forgives and calls us to live his Gospel joyfully. We make this prayer in Jesus’ name.

Amen
